The nature preserve around the Großer Ahornboden,in the heart of the Karwendel,
with its mountains of more than 2,500m (8,202 ft.) is a breathtaking landscape.

Mountain biking: it's challenging to discover the landscape, people and culture on a bicycle.
Right next to our house, the beautiful Karwendel nature park gives you the opportunity to go hiking and climbing in a magnificent landscape.
A special vacation world. Hiking in the most beautiful part of Tyrol in the Engergrund, watch chamoises, follow the whistle of the marmot - that's nature at its best.
Enjoy the gentian bloom in the spring, hike through the blooming valleys or between discover colorful alms with cows on pasture, and say proudly "Berg Heil" at the summit cross.
All this you can experience on our guided hikes, which we'll discuss ahead at our hiking get-togethers.
In the middle of the Karwendel we offer three- to eight-hour trips including a stop for refreshments at a lodge or alm.
Each week the landlady (certified hiking guide) offers a so-called "Indulgence hike".
